TIMELINE
1981 to 1984
She studied Fine Arts at the Federal University of Minas Gerais.
1984 to 1986
Trainee at the offices of Architects Eolo Maia / JO Vasconcelos/ Silvio Podesta and architect Cid Horta.
1987
She lived in Paris where she studied French at the Sorbonne and Urbanism at the Créateur Université.
1988
She worked at Roberto Loeb Arquitetos Associados in São Paulo, where she participated in several projects, including the Acropolis Museum in Athens.
1990 and 1991
She lived in Kyoto, Japan, where she developed several projects at the renowned office Shin Takamatsu Architects Associates.
1992 to 1997
She was a teacher at the UFMG School of Architecture in the subjects of Design, Expression and Representation and Interior Design.
2000
She founded Imagem Arquitetura e Decoração Ltda., a company responsible for several corporate, commercial, cultural and residential projects. Won several awards and contests.
2008
She lived in Pleasantville, NY where she updated with courses in sustainability – “Architectural Green Design Solutions” at AIA NY (American Institute of Architects New York) and project management at City College NY. There she also developed several projects.
2013
She moved to Miami where she founded AS Design+ LLC.
Since then, Andrea has always participated in courses, workshops and conferences in the field of architecture, design fairs (including Saloon de Mobille Milano) and finishing works. Her constant search for new knowledge, passion for beauty, travel, history and the well-being of people make her projects creative and unique.
In her works, they stand out for the defined concept, comfort and functionality of the internal spaces, for the harmony of shapes and volumes, for the dialogue with nature and for the creativity in the use of quality materials, but with low cost. Several of them published in national magazines and award winners.

Founded in 2000, the company operates in the corporate, commercial and residential segments, developing from the concept and floor plan to the coordination and supervision of works. Specialized in the design, development and implementation of projects, it has a team of specialized professionals involved in small, medium and large projects. Imagem Arquitetura e Decoração always seeks to incorporate sustainability solutions into its environments.
For the company, respect for deadlines and customer satisfaction are its main objectives.
